Obex Cortex 0223FR is a state-of-the-art breather membrane designed to offer moisture management within the external wall construction. This external breather membrane features advanced water-resistant yet breathable technology, ensuring that moisture can escape while preventing condensation within the external wall.
Key Features:
- Obex Cortex Technology: This exterior breathable membrane utilises the innovative water resistant technologu. It is a breathable membrane which facilitates the escape of moisture and the prevention of condensation within the external wall construction and can be applied to many surfaces such as sheathing board, concrete and insulation.
- Water Resistant: Ensures W1 watertightness, the highest possible watertightness index, while maintaining breathability.
- Fire Classification: Fire-rated breather membrane. Achieves Class A2 according to EN 13501-1, providing added safety and compliance with building regulations.
- Highy UV Resistant: The material make-up of this external breather membrane make it highly UV resistant. It can withstand UV exposure for up tp 12 months
Applications:

It is installed using Obex double-sided tape and UV resistant Facade Tape
